Brian Shaw has over 25 years of management and consulting experience. In many of his positions, he has helped lead organizations through change by leveraging technology and reducing redundancy to realize cost savings while increasing performance and improving service. Mr. Shaw also has an extensive background in program/project management, budgeting, and financial management and analysis, as well as facilities and staff management. While at QED, he has applied his analytic and program management capabilities in helping Federal Government executives address issues such as aviation safety and safety management systems, organizational restructuring, and technology investments. In these engagements, he has demonstrated the ability to effectively lead diverse teams through design and development efforts resulting in supportable and implementable solutions.
Stephen Mills has over 25 years of professional experience working in the small business contracting arena. His technical career includes a successful military career retiring with multiple credentials in the aviation electronic and maintenance fields. He has held leadership positions with three small businesses to include Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Steve has a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University and holds a Top Secret sensitive compartmented information (SCI) clearance with Life Style Polygraph from National Security Agency (NSA).
Debra Derman

Debra Derman has over 23 years of diverse professional experience in management consulting, project management, and health care management. She has extensive experience in supporting broad-based technical teams and managing their plans and actions. Debra has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail. Working with the Federal Government in various planning and research efforts, she has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead teams to successful project completion.
Sue King
Senior Consultant
Sue King has over 25 years of experience in designing and developing compelling marketing, training, and communication materials. She has led teams producing both online and classroom-based training, implementation strategies and plans, communication plans and products, multimedia marketing materials, websites, and web-based tools. Her specialty is creating engaging content that quickly communicates key messages in practical and cost effective ways. She has extensive experience in writing, editing, and graphic design, using those skills to take client products to the next level.
