Our Approach. At QED we take a product-oriented approach
to communications. We focus on identifying specific communication products
for an organizational change initiative. The process includes collecting
information, producing materials, and rapidly disseminating information

- Communication Strategy Development and Planning.
Comprehensive planning is essential at the outset of an effective communication
effort. Communication plans and strategies serve as the blueprint for
communication activity. An effective plan includes key messages, target
audiences, key contacts, vehicles for delivering messages to internal
and external stakeholders, and potential factors that would lead to
changes in the plan. Delivering timely communication activities and
products to targeted audiences ensures that channels with key stakeholders
remain open.
- Partnership. A key component of the QED approach
is forming a partnership with the client team to identify the most effective
means of internal communications. We recommend that communication programs
and initiatives be implemented by a small core team of clients and QED
staff. This core team plans and disseminates key information to programs
and personnel within the organization.
